Our first phase of consultation is now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part and provided some incredibly helpful feedback and comments. We are now looking at a number of options for the future of the shopping centre and the consultation responses are helping to inform this work.

Lewisham Shopping Centre
Lewisham Shopping Centre is a major part of the town centre, but it is now over 40 years old and we needs to explore ways that it can evolve to provide new and better uses that matter to the local community.
We want to help Lewisham town centre succeed in the future.
Town centres and the way we shop have been rapidly changing due to the growth of online shopping. This change is likely to have been accelerated by the impact of the COVID-19 crisis, and will affect the how the shopping centre is used by local people and retailers.
Lewisham Council has long held ambitions to secure a vibrant future for Lewisham Town Centre, which we share.
